After a great tour while filling in for Eddie Biebel (who has left Wayne's band), Izzy "Grizzly" Zaidman has been given the full time slot as guitarist. Izzy amazed many fans, as well as Wayne on the road with his stellar playing and personality, earning himself the coveted spot. Last night was the big night as Wayne and Gina wed, in between sets at Safari Sam's in Hollywood.

After over 5 years of playing beside Wayne, Guitarist Eddie Biebel has left the band. We wish Ed the best in his future endeavors, and thank him for his past commitment.
A message from Eddie:

After five and a half years as Wayne Hancock's lead guitarist I've decided to move on. I'm not sure what the future holds for me just yet but you can bet I'll be playing music. Thanks for your kindness and support. Be seein' ya down the road.

Izzy Zaidman from UncleFucker will be sitting in as a replacement on guitar for the current tour.

If you have heard the rumor, it is indeed true. The show scheduled for Safari Sam's in Hollywood on June 8 will be a very special show. During the break, Wayne and Gina will be getting married - on stage! It will be a short, quick ceremony, and the couple felt it would be fun to share their nuptials with the fans, while done in typical Wayne fashion - on the road. Certainly not a show to be missed!

In other news, Anthony "Tony" Locke has been blowing folks away since he joined Wayne, Eddie, and Huck on the stage with his steel guitar. The extra element that Tony has brought to the sound has made this recent tour awesome. We're trying to get some photos of Tony on the site but being on the road has hindered that somewhat - if anyone happens to be taking pictures at the shows, and end up with some good high resolution photos of Tony (or any other band member for that matter) please get with Gina or Tony if you would like to share them here and they can give you contact info.

Wayne would like to say thanks again to all who have came out to the shows, supporting live music, and for being the best fans anyone could ask for.

On a final note - Godspeed to Roxanne, Wayne's cousin, who will be returning to Iraq for a second tour of duty. We wish her, and all our brothers and sisters in uniform, a safe tour, and a speedy return back to the USA.

Andy Gibson will not be able to stand in as steel player as previously announced. But if you are able to attend shows this weekend you will be able to catch our friend David Berzansky from the Hacienda Brothers as he steps in and picks some steel guitar. Anthony Locke is set to become the full time steel player on April 26 at the Dan's Silverleaf show in Denton Texas.

just wanted to say that the tour with JB Beverley & the Wayward Drifters was a success and hell of a good time! Thanks to all that came out!

Wayne and the gang are headed back to Austin and will be stopping by:
Atlanta, Ga at the Earl 3/19
Birmingham, AL at Speakeasy 3/20
and off the beaten track to
Carrollton, MS at the Carrollton County Market 3/21

This might be the last time you can see Wayne as a trio, because starting April 4, he will have a STEEL PLAYER! Yes! You read that right! Wayne will have Andy Gibson ( from Hank 3) for all of April then Anthony Locke ( from Combo Mahalo, and Erik and the Gypsy Tribe) will sit in 3/28 and 3/29 in Norman, OK and will start full time in May."

Happy Holidays everyone. We wish each of you the best as the new year approaches. Thanks goes out to everyone who came to a show this last year, you guys' make it all possible with your undying support for us, and the music we all love. Please take time this holiday season to think of those giving their all within the Armed Forces who are away from their family. We're off the road for a bit, but will be seeing you all again soon.
